Eva Schlegel & 2MVD developed AR installations for Salzkammergut 2024 , the European Capital of Culture. These installations aim to push the boundaries of how we perceive space and our interaction with it by combining the physical and virtual realms. They want to create art that blurs the line between the tangible, like real objects, and the intangible, like virtual experiences, all by using AR technology. The trilogy "Memories from the Future" explores selected locations and their historical significance. In this project, the physical space serves as a source of inspiration, and visitors actively participate in shaping their own experiences. At three distinct locations in Salzkammergut, animated installations can be accessed via QR codes, allowing visitors to engage with and immerse themselves in the artwork.
